 Kris Giesen Kris Giesen is a Clinical Psychologist (Registrar) who has been involved in the Focused Psychological Interventions Program as a therapist since 2005. She has also worked in multidisciplinary hospital and community-based settings, and has considerable experience in conducting case management, assessments, case formulation, and treatment for a wide range of disorders and conditions. She is trained in cognitive-behavioural and interpersonal therapies, and other time-limited approaches, such as brief and solution-focussed. She has a particular interest in the thought processes that predispose a person to mood a disorder, and is currently completing a PhD in this area. She also consults on a part-time basis to the WA Police Force, providing personality profiles and investigation strategies to assist serious crime investigations.
